Business terms and conditions for your approval.
 
Please read and accept following information before proceeding. Your booking/reservation has a reservation number, to which you must refer, when contacting us or making payment.
 
Payment can be made in advance, using the link in the order confirmation forwarded to you. Cancellation of, or changes to, your reservation can be made using the link in the order confirmation forwarded to you, or by contacting our office during opening hours.
 
Your reservation can be cancelled or changed until 30 minutes before departure. Refunds can only be carried out, once you have cancelled the reservation.
 
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation  due to force majeure, disasters, industrial action, fire- or water damage, acts of war or the like, without Ærøfærgerne being liable for compensation.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
 
Data protection is a high priority with us, and we want openness and transparency about how we process your personal information. We have therefore developed a policy for how your personal information is processed and protected.
 
Why do we use your personal information?
 
We use your personal information to fulfill our obligations in connection with legislation, court rulings and government decisions. This includes the use of your personal information for the collection and control of accounting information in compliance with accounting rules.

What legal right do we have to use your personal information?
 
The use of your personal information is necessary for us to fulfill our legal obligations.
 
How long do we keep your information?
 
We store your information in accordance with the Danish Accounting Act. Thereafter, all information will be deleted or anonymized in such a way that the information can no longer identify you
 
Who is responsible for your personal information?
 
The Provider is responsible for the personal information you provide to us and is responsible for your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law.
 
Where do we store your information?
 
The information that we collect about you is stored in Denmark, more specifically at Curanet A / S Danske hostingcentre and the provider's own server. Such transfer of your personal information is carried out in accordance with applicable law.
 
Who has access to your information?
 
Your information is only used by trusted staff of the provider. The provider acts as the data controller for your personal information and uses the personal information in its own ways. However, the provider uses several data processors that ensure that we can deliver the desired product and service to our customers. We never share, sell or exchange your personal information with third parties for marketing outside the provider. Personal information passed on to third parties is used only to serve you. Under each named process below you can find the individual categories of third parties.

What are your rights?
 
Right of access:
 
You have the right to be informed at any time what personal information we have registered about you. Contact the Provider and we will send your personal information via e-mail.
 
The right to correct data:
 
You have the right to request that your personal information be corrected if it is incorrect, including the right to make incomplete information complete.
 
The right to delete data:
 
You have the right to have the personal information we use deleted at any time, except in the following situations:
 
You have an unresolved case with us.
You have an open order that has not yet been completed
You have a financial balance with the provider, regardless of payment method
You are suspected of having or have misused our services within the last four years
Your debt has been resold to a third party within the last three years or within a year for deceased customers
If you have made a purchase, we will keep your personal information in connection with your transaction for the sake of the accounting rules
Your right to oppose your use based on legitimate interests:
 
You have the right to object to the use of your personal information based on the legitimate interests of the provider. The Provider will not continue to use your personal information unless we can demonstrate a valid reason for their use, which violates your wishes and rights and / or on the basis of legal requirements.
 
Your right to oppose direct marketing:
 
You have the right to oppose direct marketing, including profile analysis for direct marketing purposes.

You have the right to request limited use of your personal information from the provider in the following circumstances:
If you object to use based on the legitimate interests of the provider, the provider must restrict all use of that personal information while verifying that our legitimate interests take precedence over yours.
If you believe that your personal information is incorrect, the provider must restrict all use of that data while verifying the accuracy of that personal information.
If the processing is unfair, you can oppose the deletion of your personal information and instead request limited use of your personal information
If the provider no longer needs your personal information but is required to make a legal claim.
How can you exercise your rights?
 
We take data protection very seriously and therefore you can always contact the provider with inquiries.

If you believe that the provider is processing your personal information incorrectly, you can contact TeamBooking at ferry@teambooking.dk. You also have the opportunity to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
